Junior Judge applications will be accepted May 21-June 4, 2016.
Girls between the ages of 10-18 are invited to apply as Junior Judges for our 2016 Fast Pitch competition. Our goal is to inspire the next generation of female founders and investors. In addition to learning business basics and what's involved with being an entrepreneur, the girls actively participate in the judging process and interact with the entrepreneurs. We want them to walk away from the experience feeling confident and motivated, knowing there is a strong community of women available to support them in achieving their goals.
We will provide educational activities and host a pre-pitch event so the girls can get acquainted and review the top 10 companies that will present on-stage at the Fast Pitch event on October 20th in Los Angeles.
Girls must attend the Fast Pitch event to participate in voting. They will present a sponsored cash award of $5,000 to their selected winner at the event.
There is a $100 participation fee that covers all activities leading up to and including the Fast Pitch event. If financial assistance is required, Women Founders Network will review requests on a case-by-case basis.
